A GTM engineer should promote and facilitate cohesion across sales, marketing, and AE teams, encouraging cross-collaboration and open discussion. Each sub-team stands to benefit from signal analysis and performance data, enabling data-backed decisions to shape customer engagement strategy.
In summary, my role as a GTM Engineer is to eliminate complexity, unify all key GTM functions, serve as the single source of truth for data analysis and performance tracking, and ensure every GTM initiative drives clear, measurable ROI.

My career so far
Hi, I’m Jack, a Go-To-Market (GTM) Engineer with over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, plus AI automation. My work journey began in the Royal Navy as an Electronic Warfare Specialist, where I developed a passion for data analysis and systems engineering. After transitioning to the private sector, I began working with SaaS companies, growth agencies, and tech startups to help them scale.
Along the way, I taught myself to code and build web applications. I became fascinated with AI and creating custom applications with agentic workflows, which predominantly focus on sales opps and marketing opps process automation.
I’ve spent most of my career solving complex problems in varied job roles, such as Electronic Warfare Specialist, Agency Solutions Consultant, Growth Marketing Lead, and Account Director.
Moving forward, I’ve combined my coding and development skills with my sales and marketing experience to master go-to-market engineering. I’ve worked with sales automation tool providers, MarTech startups, SaaS businesses, marketing agencies and SEO consultancies. All these experiences and skills perfectly prepared me for my future as a top-performing go-to-market engineer.
I am a passionate, lifelong learner, driven by curiosity to continuously evolve my skill set and deliver maximum value across diverse projects.
